How To Spool Up Your Pre-tied Rigs with QuickDrift
Step 1
Pre-tie and Load
At home or at camp, you build your rigs the way you like them — tippet, fly, loop knot. Each finished rig winds neatly onto a Drift Spool, wrapping around raised edge tabs that keep line memory low and the hook secure.
Slide the finished spool into the QuickDrift™ storage shell, where the magnetic bay holds up to 24 ready-to-fish rigs.
Step 2
Hit the River Ready
Worn cross-body, the QuickDrift™ case sits comfortably against your side or torso.
When it’s time to change up, the lid pops open and rests naturally against you— every spool visible, every fly ready.
No digging, no unraveling, no stress.
Attach the quick connect via improved clinch knot, or if you prefer quicker detachment, you can tie your favorite loop knot and thread the loop through the top hole of the Quick Connect and slide the loop over the column. Attach and pre-tied rig and you're fishing!
Step 3
Swap in Seconds
Tuck your rod under an arm or clip it to your vest. Pop the current rig off the Quick Connect — that’s the small connector tied to your leader. Reel the used line back onto its Drift Spool and drop it home.
Then grab your next spool, unwind, and loop it onto the Quick Connect. Follow the spiral groove down until you feel that subtle “snap.”
That’s it. You’re rigged. Back in the current before the hatch changes.
